Working on new projects keeps my mind focussed and creative.   

I am presently working on a series of work, based on the beauty of the Spanish Andalusian countryside.   For this project, I am painting on varnished ceramic tiles, which I find exciting, as the colours and textures are far more expressive and brighter than on canvas, I find.

When in Spain on holiday, it’s easier for me to study the countryside,  so I take as many photos as possible when there, to use as study material when at home.
